Important Customer Update
After the Government announcement on Saturday 31st October regarding a new lockdown from 5th November, Westridge Garage wanted to outline how we will help our customers with their motoring needs while working within the guidance laid out by Government. We will be fully open as normal until the 5th November 2020.
From the 5th November, our Service department, Parts department and Petrol forecourt will operate as normal as they have been for many months in a safe manner.
Our New Car sales showroom will not be open for viewing public from 5th November until further notice. However, we will continue to sell New and Used cars, using our website for viewing.
CLICK AND COLLECT
Customers who are interested in one of our New or Used Cars for sale will then be required to make an appointment online or by telephone with one of our Sales Team to discuss a Click and Collect process for purchasing a car which we have now implemented following Government Guidance. This will also include a conversation about how we would value your Part Exchange ( If required ) and discuss the Options available to Finance a New Or Used Car from Westridge Garage.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR OUR CUSTOMERS?
To reduce the spread of germs, Westridge Garage are facilitating full social distancing within our premises, and have enhanced hygiene standards throughout and when handling your vehicle.
Some steps we have taken:
- Increased deployment of hand sanitizers and wipes within the business and more frequent sanitisation of surface areas within the business
- Encouraging best practice handwashing
- For the safety of all, we would request where feasible, customers to leave the premises once their vehicle has been dropped off and only return once advised to do so; as waiting areas are limited under social distancing measures.
- In line with government legislation, as of 24 July, we ask that all customers wear a face covering when visiting our premises.
- Screens have been in place at our Service Reception and Forecourt desk since 1st June.
- There is an easy to follow one way route into our premises for Service and Parts customers and a Safe Exit using a different door out.
- Easy to follow 2m social distancing floor makers.

We can arrange for our sales department to video the car of interest to you and email it through to you.
Customers can still collect a car which has been purchased from our dealership, though the handover will be outside . All vehicle handovers will take place from a designated exterior handover area and full social distancing practices will be in place to ensure both colleague and customer safety.
Our team remain on hand to assist with your sales and aftersales enquiries via telephone, email or live chat and our website is fully functional with the ability to buy or reserve a car online as well as booking a service or MOT.
Our aftersales department remains fully operational for servicing, MOT and repairs. Social distancing measures, an appointment-only system, protective screens at our service desks as well as cashless payments have been in place for several months now.
